How strong is the scent?
Noticeable but soft. Customers describe it as warm and calming, not overpowering, and it fades gently as the lotion absorbs.
Can I wear it in the sun?
Yes. Regular bergamot oil can make skin more sun-sensitive, so we use bergapten-free bergamot, which has that compound removed.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. Many customers use a small amount on their face as well as their body.
Is it OK for sensitive skin?
It's made with essential oils, so if your skin is very reactive, try it on your inner arm first. For no added fragrance, our Unscented or Oatmeal & Honey lotions are a great fit.
Does tallow smell like beef?
No. We use clean, grass-fed tallow that starts out neutral. Any scent you notice comes from the essential oils or botanicals in that lotion.
Which size should I get?
The 8 oz is a great way to try it. If you use lotion every day or share it with family, the 16 oz is the better value per ounce.
